Wired

This is a drawing for Illustration Friday's topic of the week, "Wired." If you don't know what that is, check it out- it's kind of cool and it can be a good jump start to creativity if your are stuck in a rut.

This started off as just a random doodle of a girl in my sketchbook, then I started adding wires in the background, and then she became a robot and it got all weird. I did the inking for this one on a sheet of tracing paper on top of the pencils, because the pencils were quite foul with smudges. Used a sharpie and a bunch of technical pens for this one, along with a very cool white out pen that died halfway through.. Total time on this one was about two hours or so.
